Privacy policy
Data controller
The data controller for the Site content is the publisher of the Site, as part of a personal, non-commercial and independent publication.
General principle
The Site is a static, informative website. It requires no registration, offers no user account and does not sell any personal data. The question and prayer request forms run locally in the browser: they prepare an e-mail or a text to copy, without storing anything on the Site server.
Data processed automatically
Like any website accessible online, simply visiting the Site causes the Cloudflare Pages host to technically process certain connection data (notably the IP address and browser information) for the operation, performance and security of the server. This processing is handled by the host; the publisher does not use it to identify visitors.
In addition, the Site loads some technical resources from third-party services, which may transmit the visitor's IP address to the provider concerned: Google Fonts (typefaces — fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com); and, only on pages featuring a map, unpkg (the Leaflet mapping library — unpkg.com) and OpenStreetMap (map tiles — tile.openstreetmap.org). None of these services is used by the Site for tracking or advertising.
Cookies
The Site sets no analytics or advertising cookies.
The Site may use localStorage for strictly local preferences, such as the visual theme or selected language. This information remains in the visitor's browser and is not transmitted to the publisher.
Purposes and legal basis
The only existing processing (the host's technical logs, loading of resources) serves the operation, security and display of the Site. Its legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in providing a functional, secure site (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
Recipients
The technical data mentioned above is accessible only to the host and, where applicable, to the third-party resource providers mentioned. No data is transmitted for commercial purposes.
Retention period
The publisher retains no personal data on the Site server. Any technical logs are kept by Cloudflare according to its own policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. If a visitor voluntarily sends an e-mail prepared by a form, the message is then handled by the visitor's mail app and the relevant e-mail providers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding your data. Because the Site stores no personal data on its own server, these requests mainly concern any messages voluntarily sent by e-mail. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
